30 years of EALE.
On Friday 20 September 2024, we celebrate our 30th anniversary.
In 30 years, we have evolved to become a key player in sustainable development in Goma. We are doing this with local partner projects such as AGAPE-KISANY, Fonds Ngangi, Foyer Culturel de Goma, Humanisme Aide au Développement (HAD), INUKA, Kivu International School (KIS) and Promo Jeune Basket (PJB). Through their educational and socio-economic activities, they continue to transform lives.
Our achievements in 30 years:
- Tens of thousands of children supported in educational activities and training,
- Hundreds of mothers put to work or supported in income-generating entrepreneurial activities,
- Hundreds of young girls and their siblings welcomed, cared for and reintegrated into their families,
- 240 girl mothers trained in agro-ecology and reintegrated into their communities,
- The development of 4 hectares of community vegetable gardens covering the vital food needs of more than 2,000 beneficiaries,
- Around fifty Mutual Solidarity Societies bringing together thousands of parents concerned about self-sufficiency,
- The construction of 680 houses for more than 2,200 vulnerable beneficiaries.
In 2023, our partners employed 189 staff and supported more than 16,000 beneficiaries in Goma through educational and socio-economic activities that had a lasting impact on their well-being.
On this anniversary, we would like to thank you once again for your loyal support and your generous contributions. They are the driving force behind our work.
Thanks to your support, we have strengthened the resilience of our beneficiaries in the face of extreme poverty and insecurity, while restoring their dignity and promoting a better future.
Your contributions are essential if we are to continue to transform the lives of vulnerable mothers and children in Goma, making them agents of change and peace.
